Good news! The mv Doulos, the floating book store is docking at Pier 2 on January 8, 2009.

It will be opened to the public from Jan. 9 to Feb. 10, 10 AM-10 PM on Tue-Sat; and 2 PM-10 PM on Sun-Mon. Entrance fee is only Php 10 each, but children under 16 years old are free.

If you haven’t visited the Doulos yet, now is the opportune time. They have great books on almost any topic under the sun. They have a friendly international crew, which holds an International Night towards the end of their stay that is fun-filled and exciting to be in.

One little secret: they have an ice cream bar which serves some of the most delicious flavors I’ve ever tried.
